So today I wanted to show you a great tool that you can use on your mobile phone. It works on iPhone and Android and it’s called Arc Search. It’s this little icon down here and Arc is designed primarily for search and results rather than browsing. So you would use this instead of Safari or Chrome for example. Let’s try something simple. Postcode for Havi Bay. You can see it’s found the postcode for me. However, this is something you could do with Siri or Google Assistant. Let’s try something a little more complicated. Let’s so I wanted to do some research on an organization. We’ll try CPA Australia. You notice that what it’s doing is it’s getting information from Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia and the CPA Australia website and it’s assembling that all in one place for me so I can scan through and find what I’m looking for. However, from here I can also just tap on the Google button down the bottom and it now actually does a Google search for me like I would normally expect. If I was interested in becoming a CPA, I navigate to this page and with my fingers I pinch as if I was zooming out of a photo and then I get a summary of just that page. This is a great example of using AI wherever you happen to be. The Ark is a great example of that.
